A month already!
It's hard to belive that 4 weeks ago Mel was in Labor waiting for jess to join us in the world. Jess is doing very well. She eats about every two or three hours and fills her diaper every two or three minutes (at least when I'm around!) Every day I keep hoping Jess will be able to say "Yes, I am finished pooping, you may clean my butt now!" Oh well, we can hope can't we. Untill then, I'll keep playing diaper roulette. I went thru 5 diapers in 45 minutes last night! We've had some wonderfull visits over the past couple of weeks. Nana, Aunt Ashley, Aunt Brittany, and Uncle Shaun were her for about a week. And Granma and Chief were here last week. It was wonderfull to see everyone and the extra help around the house was great. Jess got to meet Santa for the first time on tuesday. She wouldn't tell me what she was asking for, but I'm sure santa could understand her. Well, I think it's time to take a quick nap before the next round of roulette.

Wow!
Before last week I thought that I had a pretty good life. I have a good job, a wonderful wife, a decent house, and I get along with my parents and all of my in-laws. What else could I need. At least that's what I thought until Wednesday. My daughter Jessica Nicole was born at 4:26 Wednesday. She was a perfect 7lbs, 14oz and 20 inces long. During the last nine months I endured nausea, heartburn, and tossing and turning at night because you can't find a comfortable spot. Mel had some of the same symptoms! Strange! It was all worth it! I look foward to sleepless nights, changing diapers and everything else that comes along with our bundle of joy. Mel and I can only hope that we can do as good of a job as our parents did with us. I think we're up for the challenge
